The 52nd Boone County Historical Society Annual Meeting is scheduled for the fourth Thursday in January. The meeting of the members will take place on the main floor of the Boone History Center at 6 o’clock. Seating is limited. Early voting will be held from 4-6. If you require handicap access, please walk quietly through the Lower Level in order to use the elevator since a group is meeting downstairs at the same time. Thank you for your consideration.

Hero’s Breakfast and Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

All Boone County law enforcement personnel, correctional officers, fire fighters, and emergency responders are invited for a hot breakfast in the Lower Lobby, followed by free admission and tours until 4 p.m. at the Boone History Center (where galleries are making progress and new exhibits are being developed so come and see the progress.)  Thanks to all of you for your service to the community!!  No reservation needed.
